Just three fuzzy TV channels, on a good day, pulled in by an old antenna bolted to the roof. Only a few houses in town had satellite dishes, and that was before cable made its way out that far. There were no smartphones. No YouTube. No scrolling. Just long days, early mornings, and plenty of imagination. And in the middle of it all was a boy who saw more than what was in front of him.
